Event Coordinator
Location: Hybrid but mostly remote with occasional travel - Boston or NYC area only.
Length: 12 months to start
Pay: $40-$44/hr (W2 and option for benefits)
Responsibilities:
- Will program manage small conferences and events.
- Wil collaborate with other program managers on the team and will support larger conference deliverables.
- Will be tracking the event budget and submitting invoices.
- During busy season (spring & fall) will assist with on-site execution
- They will handle program deliverables, including marketing communications, collateral, registration/invitation copy/promotions, event logistics and sales communications.
- Dedicated to measuring return on investment for all programs and help provide analysis reporting.
Must have:
- Excel experience is biggest need - must be an expert - heavily on the execution side as apposed to the strategy, so a lot of invoicing, working with excel pivots, working alongside finance, submitting to AP etc.
- Expertise with events and/or marketing, ideally within the financial services industry
- Experience with budgeting, invoicing, connecting with AP, and powerpoint presentations
- Experience interfacing and negotiating with internal and external groups at all levels and across multiple functions
- Ability to multitask, juggle, prioritize and balance competing goals and projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of event marketing and/or marketing communications experience
- Nice to have : CVENT and SalesForce experience
